RULES, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES FOR MEMBERSHIP (Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Martial Arts) It is Mpact’s goal for children to remain enrolled in their classes on an ongoing basis. The benefits – emotional, as well as physical – of being enrolled in our classes are realized over a period of time, not just for a month here and there. MEMBERSHIP
Membership fees are non-refundable and not transferable.
Review the Mpact Annual Attendance Calendar (versus a regular monthly calendar). Mpact defines twelve (12) months in the year with four (4) weeks in every month. Closures occur four (4) weeks each year. You never pay more and we serve you a total of 48 weeks per year.
ALL TUITION IS BASED ON FOUR (4) WEEKS EACH MONTH.
Mpact reserves the right to change prices, days and times of classes at anytime.
Mpact reserves the right to cancel a student’s and/or family membership at anytime.
Payments are due by the 1st of each month.
Payments received after the 1st will be assessed a $25 late fee per family.
Mpact requires all customers to provide a “Guaranteed Form of Payment.” If payment is not received by the 10th, your account will be charged on the 11th along with the $25 late fee.
Payments will be accepted by Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Payments can be made in person, by phone or by mail.
A $25.00 RETURNED CHECK FEE WILL BE ASSESSED FOR ALL CHECKS RETURNED BY THE BANK.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY & CLASS CHANGES – VERY IMPORTANT
All class changes or withdrawals must be made and confirmed by the office, NOT the coach.
Mpact requires that a WRITTEN withdrawal notice must be submitted to the office by the 15th of the month prior to the month of withdrawal, i.e. notice must be submitted by November 15th to withdraw for December.
This policy enables a more efficient billing process and manageability of accurate class enrollment. If a written withdrawal notice has not been received and confirmed by the office, you will be billed and responsible for that month’s tuition. For your convenience, withdrawal forms are available at the front desk. NO EXCEPTIONS; POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED!
VERBAL WITHDRAWALS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
Collection services will be used if fees are not paid in a timely manner.
MAKE-UP CLASSES (GYMNASTICS/TUMBLING ONLY)
NO CREDITS OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CLASSES NOT ATTENDED.
GYMNASTS ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE-UP ANY CLASSES MISSED WITHIN ONE MONTH OF THE MISSED DATE.
Make-up requests should be made no less than one day in advance through the office.
Competitive team members are not eligible for make-up classes.
In the event of inclement weather, please call the gym one hour before your scheduled class time and listen for a message announcing if classes are being held. We do not follow the public school cancellations.
BE READY FOR CLASS
Please try to be on time to class. It is very important for each child to receive a proper warm-up to avoid injury.
Students must wear proper gymnastics attire. GIRLS – leotard or shorts & shirt; BOYS – shorts and t-shirts tucked in.
Any student with hair longer than chin-length MUST have tied their hair away from his/her face before class begins.
No jewelry, belts, buckles, zippers, footed tights, socks or jeans will be permitted in class for safety reasons.
CHILDREN IN THE WAITING AREA MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
Please refrain from coaching or distracting your child from the sidelines. Gymnasts, even the youngest age, need to focus on the skills they are doing and not be distracted for their safety. Attention must be directed to the coach only.
Valuable items should not be brought into the gym. Mpact will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
